Summer CSA

Season Update: Summer CSA starts the first week in June! Everything is looking great and the Spring veggies are all coming in. We should start the season off with strawberries, snap peas, new potatoes, broccoli, garlic scapes, and bunched carrots! Really good box to start the season. Strawberries are late this year and may make it to week 2 of the season.

Keep a look out for the first weekly email. We send it out the Friday before your CSA delivery.

Delivery Day Changes: We decided to switch the delivery days last season to help us be more efficient and provide the best CSA box possible. Our big pack day was Tuesday’s and the big delivery day was Wednesday’s for the past 5 years.

We now will be delivering and packing Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and separating the routes so we do 1/3 each day. This will allow us to pack and deliver all the CSA boxes the same day, and no boxes will be stored in our cooler. As a result, the veggies will be fresher and not sweat. We will be able to provide the best possible CSA box to our members! Onions, Potatoes, Squash, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant do not need to be refrigerated when picked fresh :)

Monday: East Baltimore County + Northeast Baltimore County

Tuesday: Baltimore City, AA County, Rodgers Forge Drop off

Wednesday: North / West Baltimore County, Howard + Montgomery County, Harford County

Update: 5/22

We use Local Food Marketplace as our CSA platform. Each member is able to log in and see all past and current orders, all payments, account balances, shop weekly items, and place holds on their subscriptions. Our weekly Online Market will be updated every Friday @ 12:30 PM. It will be open the first week of the season. Once the season starts, you will receive a weekly Email on what to expect in your box and up to date information about the season.

Delivery Holds: All delivery Holds must be placed before Friday @ Noon before your next scheduled delivery day! We require this much lead time to gather and pack the CSA shares each week. If you place your CSA subscription on Hold after the cut off time, your share will be donated and you will still be charged!
